SHRED FEST to Benefit American Cancer Society

9:00 a.m. – Noon

Now is a great time to clean out the filing system, basement or drawers and get rid of all the paper your personal shredder just can’t handle and help support A M Community Credit Union’s Relay for Life team.

Collect it all - Old tax records, shoe boxes filled with expired warrantees and outdated receipts, folders full of financial statements, and the towering stack of pre-approved credit card offerings mailed to you daily. Bundle it all up and bring the items to AMCCU, 6715 Green Bay Road, Kenosha where our shredding partner, Iron Mountain Inc., will securely shred it on the spot while you watch in exchange for a donation to the American Cancer Society. Make plans now to help AMCCU’s Relay for Life team shred toward a future without cancer.

During Fridays in June and July 2009, the employees of AMCCU will have the opportunity to be “Casual for a Cause” for a contribution to Relay For Life®.

Relay For Life®, the American Cancer Society's signature event, is a fun-filled overnight experience designed to bring together those who have been touched by cancer. At Relay, people from within the community gather to celebrate survivors, remember those lost to cancer, and to fight back against this disease.

For the thirteenth year in a row, AM Community Credit Union is proud to support this event with a team at Relay for Life®. The founder of the Kenosha Relay For Life® event, Nick Scavone, was one of AMCCU’s family members and it is in his honor and memory we strive to make this the best year ever for team AMCCU in the fight against this disease. AMCCU will have donation jars available for anyone wishing to make a contribution to stamp out cancer.
