CONGRATULATIONS TaShawn!
This is TaShawn’s second time being recognized as the “Fisherperson of the Quarter.” She is a Financial Service Generalist at the Uptown Branch. FISH! is a philosophy that encourages everyone to feel inspired about the work they do.
At AM Community Credit Union, employees are nominated by their peers for actions that demonstrate this philosophy by service that is above and beyond normal job requirements, whether applied to member or employee interactions. These interactions are portrayed in at least one of the four simple but powerful principles: “Be There”; “Play”; “Make Their Day”; and “Choose Your Attitude.”
An internal committee of peers chooses the “Fisherperson of the Quarter” award from those employees nominated during the previous quarter, and CEO Don Gillespie awards the recipient with a certificate and a special FISH! polo shirt.
TaShawn was selected for “Choosing Her Attitude” as well as for “Being There” for our members. During the second quarter of 2006, TaShawn encouraged a member to maintain her account at AM Community Credit Union, “Making the Member’s Day.” Way to go, TaShawn!
