Dual Authentication and what it means to you!
AM Community Credit Union is committed to providing the most secure online access to your accounts for our online banking service. In order to strengthen the security of accessing your online accounts, effective Monday, November 6th, 2006, we will be implementing an online security system called dual authentication that will assess each individual login to online banking. The criteria that will be assessed for each login are as follows: Time of day, IP address (computer's location from where you are logging in), amount of transaction or transfer, and amount of total logins. Most logins will continue to appear normal and will not require you to login any differently. However, if your login is deemed unusual, you may be forced to enter one of two things. You may be asked your verification question that you set up when you signed up for online banking or you may have a pin number sent to the email address you have on file for your online banking account.
What we are asking all our online banking users to do is verify that you know the answer to your verification question and that your email address for online banking is accurate. You can do this by logging into online banking, click on the "User Services" tab, and then go to the "Manage Your Accounts" section.
Thank you for double checking your account information and for online banking with us!
